Waiters Today said… Please Introduce yourself and let us know a little about yourself.
If you've ever wanted to vent about your frustration with table 20, The Waiters Today is the place to do it. Complete with several passionate members of the food industry who contribute their experiences from all over the country, the website is a great place for servers, bartenders, managers, and anyone passionate about food and restaurant business to gather and share common interests. The Waiters Today was built on the premise that servers in the food industry should have one exclusive social network where they can share experiences, learn from one another, and just have fun socializing with other individuals who personally understand one another's daily triumphs and annoyances. This gives servers and food industry-enthusiasts alike the chance to feel understood and praised in an environment that can often make one feel under appreciated.
The Waiters Today social network provides a resource for more than just socializing, but also for discussing etiquette, trends in the industry, and all things food-related. The blog section of the network features articles posted from a variety of different food industry workers, which discusses subjects from laws surrounding the food industry to customer stereotypes that can make you a favorable (or not so favorable) guest at a restaurant. The blog feature is open to all users, so members can voice their ideas and concerns while receiving feedback from other experienced members through comments.
For visual members, The Waiters Today has an extensive photo and video section, which allows users to submit images of everything from food items to tips. With this feature, members can literally see what goes on at different restaurants all over the country. Other notable features on the site include a special events area where members can gather and post upcoming events in their restaurants or any miscellaneous event that is otherwise related to the food industry. This feature allows members to get together on a face-to-face basis to celebrate the industry and essentially just have fun with other like-minded people.
If you are passionate about your job as a server or a bartender and want to meet and discuss your daily concerns with other servers from all over the world, The Waiters Today is the ultimate social networking spot for you. Instead of venting to the cooks in the kitchen, broadcast your annoyances in a place where they will be both heard and understood at The Waiters Today.
